Construction Process

01

Sandblast to Sa2.5 grade, with a surface roughness of 50-80 μm.

Sandblast to remove mill scale and rust, creating an anchor profile. Apply the primer within 4 hours after blowing clean with compressed air.

02

Apply epoxy sealer primer to penetrate and reinforce.

Apply 0.15-0.2 kg/m² to fully penetrate the substrate's micro-pores. Allow to dry for 24 hours.

03

Scrape epoxy putty to fill pores and cracks.

Material: Quartz powder : hardener = 2:1:0.5, apply with a scraper 1–2 times, let dry for 24 hours, then sand smooth.

04

Apply roll-coated intermediate coating to establish a corrosion barrier.

Apply 0.1-0.12 kg/m² using a cross-hatch method; allow to dry for 24-48 hours.

05

Apply polyurethane topcoat to enhance weather resistance.

Apply at a rate of 0.08-0.1 kg/m², spread evenly, and allow to dry for 48-72 hours. Total dry film thickness ≥ 0.5 mm.

Important Notes

Construction Safety and Quality Control

  • The construction site has good ventilation and is equipped with explosion-proof devices.
  • Operators must wear full protective gear.
  • Strictly control mixing ratios and pot life
  • Substrate treatment quality directly affects the final result.
  • The time interval between each process step must not be less than the specified duration.
  • No entry during the curing period.
  • Dispose of waste in accordance with hazardous chemical regulations.
  • Keep away from open flames and high-temperature areas.
